Data Deletion

You can delete your data from Truefold at any time. This page explains what we store, how to request deletion, and what happens after a request.

Delete a single connection

To stop using one connected source (for example, Google Ads, Meta, Shopify, Klaviyo, or BigQuery), open Settings → Connectionsin the Service and disconnect it. Disconnecting immediately stops any further syncing from that source. To permanently erase the stored credentials and tokens for that source, the semantic-layer metadata derived from it, and any source data imported into Truefold’s BigQuery on your behalf, request deletion by email as described below; we complete it within 30 days.

Delete your entire account

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, you can either:

• email us at privacy@truefold.aifrom the address associated with your account, with the subject “Data deletion request”; or
• contact us through the Service to request account deletion.

We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request to protect your account.

What gets deleted

• your account profile (name, email, organization);
• all stored connection credentials, OAuth tokens, and API keys;
• the generated semantic layer, including schema metadata and sample values derived from your sources;
• any source data imported into Truefold’s BigQuery on your behalf — for connected marketing and commerce platforms (Google Ads, Meta, Shopify, Klaviyo) this is the organization-specific dataset holding your imported campaigns, metrics, orders, and events;
• application records associated with your account.

For customers who connect their own data warehouse (such as Google BigQuery), that warehouse stays under your control and we do not copy your full datasets out of it — there is nothing for us to delete there beyond the derived metadata described above. We may retain limited records where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Timeline

We process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Backups containing residual data are purged on our regular backup-rotation cycle.
